Lesson plans (which are of a flexible length) can be used in class in schools and Universities to teach students week by week playwriting craft from leaders in the industry and help them write their own play.

Alternatively, if you are a student, you can follow the lesson plans on your own to learn the best playwriting skills in the UK and to create your own play and potentially win the chance to see your work performed and published by one of the UK’s leading publishers.

Plays can be any length from 1 minute/page to 120 minutes/pages and can be on any subject. We suggest 5 – 10 minutes as a good length if you are new to playwriting or using these lesson plans in a class but the choice is yours and lesson plans will work for all lengths. Further details will be available in the first lesson plan.
